Garreth & Carla have both worked with a number of local and national companies in various capacities.  With experience in cosmetics legislation, blending of fragrances, aromatherapy and product development Carla offers an expertise in this field to beauticians, companies and crafter's alike.  Garreth has worked as a business coach with experience in social enterprise, marketing, branding and online sales.

Celebrations

Soap parties are an original way to celebrate any occasion whether you are young or old.   We cater for children aged 6 + with experience in hen parties, retirements and women's groups

The family behind ScENT

A Husband and Wife team aspiring to use soap-making to change communities and encourage self sustainability. Carla learnt the art of making soap in Brazil whilst Garreth has a background in community/charity work.  Together they create a perfect partnership to accomplish that vision. The small family company manufactured and taught soap and cosmetic making since 2010 and quickly made a name for themselves as pioneers in the area of soap art.  Following a short break in 2016 to begin fostering Carla returned to the business with a focus on teaching, coaching and encouraging hobbyists and business enthusiasts.

We will drive to you with everything needed to give you a relaxing and fun experience; after your time working on your creations you get to pamper yourself as you deserve.

Prices

Half day workshop - £105.00/ person + £0.40p/mile - (additional £75.00 for each extra person)
Full day workshop - £165.00/ person + £0.40p/mile - (additional £75.00 for each extra person)
 Demonstrations - £75.00 + £0.40p/mile - number of people not limited
Soap Parties - £15.00/person - child + £0.40p/mile - (6 years +) up to 8 guests
Soap parties - £17.00/person - child + £0.40p/mile - (6 years +) up to 12 guests
Consultancy/Coaching/Product development* - £30 per hour

*Product development has an additional set up fee for each cosmetic requested.  Any final recipe remains the property of the client and will not be reproduced by ScENT or any partner company.
